Any size — floor hatches are fabricated to your exact structural opening. Provide the clear opening dimensions (width × length), floor finish type, expected load, and opening direction. No standard sizes only.
What is the difference between a flush hatch and a standard hatch?
A flush (hidden) hatch sits level with the surrounding floor surface — the cover is essentially invisible when closed. A standard hatch sits slightly proud. Flush requires the frame to be set into the subfloor during construction or careful retrofit work.
Is an electric lift available for floor hatches?
Yes. Electric lift systems are available for heavy covers or frequent-opening workflows. They significantly improve safety for covers over approximately 25 kg. The lift mechanism is specified during the design stage.
How long does a custom floor hatch project take?
Most projects take 3–8 weeks from approved specification to delivery, depending on mechanism complexity and finish requirements. Glass and electric-lift variants typically require 6–8 weeks.
